New day in New Ross, Ireland. Marlena is in bed. John's up and dressed. He's putting the knife in his boot. He thinks Marlena is sleeping. He walks over to the door and opens it. Marlena asks...Where do you think you're going. John stops. When we return, Marlena, sitting up now, says..I said where do you think you're going? John says he's going downstairs for some breakfast. He says she may be able to live on love and hope, but he needs some real food.The girl with the tray of food has arrived. Marlena tells her to come in. She thanks the girl. She tells the girl the table should work fine. The girl hands John the bill and then sets the tray of food on the table. John has no money. Marlena gets up and pays the girl. Marlena thanks her. The girl leaves. John says this place doesn't offer room service. Marlena says she made a special plan with the manager. John asks Marlena if it so she could keep an eye on him, or doesn't she trust him. Marlena says she doesn't trust him. She suggests he has his food, then they'll go see Colleen and get the rest of her story, and then they can go home. Marlena goes into another room to get dressed. John says to himself...Do whatever you have to do, Blondie. I'm not going anywhere till I have completed my mission. When we return, J&M are eating their breakfast. he says they are wasting their time seeing that old lady (Colleen). Marlena says she (Colleen) may say something that would provide a trigger to help him get his memory back. John doesn't see how. Marlena sees him turning his spoon around and around. She says...Put the spoon down, please. He asks her if she thinks he's going to use it as some weapon. He asks her what he would do...spoon someone to death? Marlena says she doesn't know what he's capable of doing, but she doesn't want to take any chances. He says he told her he wasn't going to hurt anyone...especially not that helpless old woman. When we return, J&M are looking out the window. Marlena asks John if he wants to go outside, take a walk, get some fresh air. John says no. He says he just wants to see this old lady and get it over with. Marlena asks..Get what over with? John says...This pointless conversation you insist on having that's supposed to disinfect the area of my brain that Stefano contaminated. Marlena says she just wants to talk to her. She wants to see what happens. John says the sooner they get this over with, the better. The girl returns and tells them that Colleen would like to see everyone in her room. Marlena asks if Colleen said why. Girl says Colleen says she wanted them (J&M) there and all the Bradys. J&M walkout of their room. They are in the hall. Bo, Hope, Patch. Kayla, and Pop Shawn are there. Marlena tells Pop Hello, and says that Bo said he (Pop) was coming. Pop don't know why they had him come. Kayla talks to Pop. John asks..Can we go? They all walk into Colleen's room. Shelle and Claire are already in there. Pop and Colleen see each other. They hug. Lots of smiles and tears, except none from John. When we return, Colleen and Pop Shawn talk as all watch and listen and cry, except for John. Pop Shawn needs his rest. Shawn takes Pop Shawn to his room. As Colleen talks about keeping the Bradys from danger from Stefano. Marlena says not all of them are Bradys. Colleen says...No, but you're connected to the Bradys. When we return, more confessions from Colleen as Marlena and John listen. Colleen asks John if life's been good to him. John says it's none of her business. Colleen finds a lot of pain in John. She hopes he finds his son. Colleen is tired. Then all leave Colleen's room but Colleen and J&M. Marlena tells Colleen that before they go, she and John have a few questions they'd like to ask her. Colleen says all right. She says she already said she's tired. John would like to have a word alone with Colleen. Marlena says there's no way she's leaving him alone with her. When we return, John says to Marlena...You really don't trust me alone with her. Marlena says No, in fact, I don't. Colleen tells John he shouldn't mind her (Marlena) staying. It would give her (Colleen) peace of mind. John tells Colleen...Nobody asked you. Marlena says to John...I am not leaving you alone with her. John to Colleen...Excuse us. He puts his hand on Marlena's shoulder and asks...Can I speak with you for a second? John has his hand now in back of Marlena...on her neck. He turns her around and smashes her head into the wall. Marlena falls to the floor She's unconscious.. Colleen gasps. John grins. When we return, we see Marlena on the floor. She's out cold. John takes his knife out of his boot. As he walks over to Colleen he tells her...You make one sound, Lady, and anybody who walks through that door dies right along with you. Colleen asks why in the name of God is he doing this. We see John raise his hand with the knife as he's ready to kill her. This is how the show ends.
