I want to say how sad and angry I am that you will not be on Days after 1/23. You and John have been the heart and soul of Days since Tom and Alice are no longer on the show. I have been a fan of yours since your very early days in TV, Emergency and Y&R were where I first started to enjoy your acting and became a fan.

I want to ask you if you will be doing any more fan events and if you will ever do one down here in South FL? You have alot of fans in FL and this is your hometown area and we fans would love to go to an event.

I think all the questions have been asked already lol...how did you react to the news. will you persue another soap, what will you miss the most etc.
I just want to tell how much I will miss the character of Marlena. She is the one character who has kept me watching DAYS for almost all of my life and I credit that totally to your portrayal of her. I wish you much happiness and give you much thanks for all the years of enjoyment you gave me. Days has made a huge mistake and I won't be watching after you're gone.

Hi, Deidre! It was just wonderful seeing you at the LA Days Fanfest! Did you like the birthday gift I gave you? I thought it was very pretty. I am so sorry that you have been let go from the show - they made a terrible decision. I will truly miss seeing you. I do not have plans to watch it after your last airdate. I have to say how absolutely appalled I was at the decision to “rest” Marlena. Together with Drake, you have made Marlena and John a super couple like no other. Your obvious off screen trust, affinity and admiration for one another always shines through and creates the most wonderful on screen chemistry unparalleled anywhere else on television. Marlena and John had a love that over so many wonderful years transcended everything else and certainly kept me watching Days. I will have no reason to watch once you depart the screen. Thanks for taking the time to answer our questions.

I am new here and this is my first post.

Deidre, I want to thank you so much for all the wonderful years that you have given to us on Days. I began to watch the show in the middle 90’s when it first aired in my country(Greece) and from the beginning you became my favorite actress. Through the years, you also became the only reason I continued watching. And even when the show stopped airing here in Greece, I tried to keep watching, thanks to my relatives in the U.S.A. and through the Internet.

Now that you are leaving, there is no reason for me to keep watching, your last day on the show, will be my last day too.

I will miss your character and the show but most of all I will miss seeing you regularly on my screen.
I have a tremendous respect and admiration for you not only as an actress but also as a person.

Now, my questions:
1. I have read that you have made many trips around the world and that you have visited many countries. Which country impressed you the most and why?? And what view, smell, taste or memory in general, was so strong, that you kept it in your mind even a long time after your trip?
2. Are there any other countries that you would like to visit?
3. Have you ever visited Greece?? If not, would you ever consider visiting??

4. You are often asked about storylines on Days that you liked the most. I would like to know if there was a storyline that you didn’t like at all and you had a hard time with? And which was the storyline??
