First I want to say that I'm sad of your departure from DAYS, however since it hasn't been good in years I'mnot going to miss it at all. If you asked me that a few years back (2004) I would miss days so much because that was the last time anything interesting happened. Today I only watch the days you are on.

As for my question

"If you were offered another Soap or prime time gig what would it be and where would you go.?

I have been a long-time fan-- probably wouldn't have survived college or grad school without you!

I have a ton of questions...

How are you doing, since hearing about the release/resting?
Would you ever consider returning to DOOL? Under what circumstances?
Would you return without Drake H?
Have you already been asked to return (the boards are lit up with rumors-- one suggests a return with Drake H and Martha M mid-year has already been pre-planned)
What is your favorite all-time single scene?
What was your most challenging single scene?
What would you have liked to have seen play out between Marlena and John after his return in 1/08?
How do you feel about Ken Corday and the (IMHO) spectacularly disastrous decision he made to take you off-canvas?

I can tell you I will never watch DOOL once you are gone. I am de-Tivo-ing as of 1/23/09.

I cannot thank you enough for the commitment and sparkle you have brought to your character and to the show...I admire your talent and grace. I wish you the continued peace we can all find only in the moment.

Here is my message/questions for Deidre:

Hi Dee!! I want to first say thanks for being a part of my, and many others, TV family for so long. I have watched Days for 15yrs now, and can say that John and Marlena are the 2 reasons that have kept me around. I am still in denial about you leaving the show, and quite frankly cannot believe that Ken made such an awful decision!!! I only hope that we can see you on screen sometime soon, and I am definitely not looking forward to January 23rd. My dedication to Days ends on January 24th in order to show my support for you and Drake.

I imagine you have received many letters/cards from fans showing their support. Do you receive them all and get a chance to read them? I have sent you one so I am hoping that is the case!! Also, what is your response to all the emails, letters, postings that have been sent to Ken Corday and Dena Higley in response to what we see as such a terrible terrible decision??

Would you ever consider coming back to Days? Would you come back without Drake? Is there any truth to rumors of you coming back later next year?

I have been a huge fan of Deidre Hall since she began on Days when I was just a young girl. Thirty plus years later, I still admire and respect her. What I would like to ask Deidre is:

Where do you see yourself and your children in 5 years? 10 years?

I would also like to say thanks for being the wonderful person you are.
