Deidre’s 4000th Episode!

Deidre made Days of Our Lives history this week with the airing of her 4,000th episode on August 21st. The cast and crew surprised Deidre with a celebration, complete with a 4,000 cake. Deidre explained:

“There was high excitement on set. We all got called to stage. My pal Maya was siting with me as I turned to her and said, “Renewal???” As I entered the stage and saw Greg I was even more convinced. Until, that is, I saw the 4000 cake and cast and crew looking at me! Stunning and a complete surprise. As sweet was the bouquet placed in my room with a card that said, ‘Congratulations on 4,000 episodes. A huge accomplishment for an even larger talent. Sincerely, Schuyler’ Class shows!”

The video provides an overview of this potentially blinding eye disease and its treatments, as well as critical tips for minimizing the risks of developing AMD. In the video, Deidre Hall reveals her family history of AMD and discusses the importance of being vigilant about protecting your vision.

Deidre joined the cast of “Grace Notes & Anvils” at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles from July 5-8.

“Grace Notes & Anvils” provides a gentle guided-tour of grief. Ron Marasco and Brian Shuff adapted their book, “About Grief: Insights, Setbacks, Grace Notes, Taboos” and use the stage to examine the heartbreak and unexpected humor found in loss. The two playwrights star with a series of alternating guest actresses.

Deidre chose a strapless, classic, navy-blue ballgown for the 2012 Daytime Emmy Awards. She accessorized with a lizard-print clutch and a matching wrap. Timeless!
